Jialan Lin

Jialan’s passion for filmmaking began at a young age, leading her to earn a Master's degree in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California, where she honed her storytelling and technical skills. Over the years, she has written and directed numerous video projects, including narrative films and documentaries.

In her role as a coordinator at Torpedo, Jialan has demonstrated her exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality visual effects. She excels in communication and collaboration, working closely with artists and VFX supervisors to bring directors’ and showrunners’ visions to life. Her ability to manage projects under pressure while maintaining tight schedules and deadlines makes her a valuable asset in the industry.

As technology continues to evolve, Jialan remains committed to expanding her skill set, staying ahead of industry trends, and delivering top-tier work. Her passion for the craft deepens with every project, blending creative, artistic, storytelling, and technical expertise to transform ideas into compelling visual experiences. In addition to her work in VFX, she writes screenplays and produces projects that highlight the stories of women of color and immigrants.
